The Megamac824 is a redesigned machine that fuses pipes from sizes 8″ IPS to 24″ DE (225mm to 630mm) at the ends. On the ground or in the trench, these all-new machines bring the flexibility of smaller machines to MegaMc’s large-diameter melt. It is the first melting machine of this size specially designed for trench work, in tight spaces, with all the advantages of a crawler or rolling machine.

The body of the Megamac824 has 4 jaws with a removable 3-jaw carriage, and is capable of overloading the heater and face to maximize functionality within a limited space. The machines allow the end fusion of most connectors, without special supports or the removal of the external jaw. Mitered inserts are available for making elbows.
